Daewoo Shipbuilding & Marine Engineering has won their first $2bn LNG-FPSO order.
The Korean shipbuilder and France’s Technip have signed a front-end engineering and design (FEED) contract for one LNG-FPSO with Malaysia’s oil giant Petronas.
When the FEED work is completed by the second half of this year, a final contract to build the facility will be inked.

Daewoo will build the hull side while Technip is in charge of the topside.
